We want you to feel right at home from the start, so don't worry about finding a receptionist – just come right in, and one of our stylists will take care of you and ensure you feel welcome.

Welcome to Alder, a boutique hair studio born in 2021 – small in size, but fierce in spirit! At Alder, we view hair as a canvas for artistic expression, and our dedicated team of stylists is committed to ensuring you enjoy a positive and tranquil experience. Our vibe? Think lush greenery, laid-back tunes, and seriously good hair days.
Why Alder, you ask? Well, we draw inspiration from the alder tree. Symbolizing strength, protection, determination, and confidence, the alder tree embodies powerful traits that resonate with us. For us, the alder reminds us that change is beautiful and transformation is possible.

cancellation policy
Please reschedule if you are sick or feeling sick. We understand that sometimes appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled. We require 24 hours notice for all changes to appointments. If we do not receive 24 hours notice you will be charged for half the cost of the appointment scheduled. No-shows will result in a full charge for the missed appointment.
If you are 15 or more minutes late to a scheduled appointment your appointment may need to be canceled or rescheduled. You will be charged a rebooking fee of half of the original appointment.

Please refrain from bringing guests and children to your appointment. Unattended children are not permitted in our waiting area. Our salon is small so please don't invite friends with you for longer color appointments. If you're planning on playing a game, listening to music, or watching tv on your phone, please bring earbuds.
